A Message from
the General Manager,
Mary Garcia

Happy New Year! We hope that 2010 will be a healthy and prosperous year for everyone.

Winter in Wisconsin is fast upon us. Just as the snow mounds get so high we can't see to the parking lot, the freezing rain and wind come along, turning it all into a flat ice-rink. But aviation never sleeps, and OSH is no exception to that rule. Corporate and transient aircraft continue to move easily on our ramp and Wittman Regional Airport crews keep the taxiways and runways clear and safe. If you've always wanted to spend a few days in Oshkosh or at the EAA Museum, what better time than now when crowds are at a minimum and the airport is quiet.

And while it may seem that warm weather and fly-ins are a long time away, at Basler Flight Service we are already deep into the planning process for another EAA AirVenture. As the last planes left OSH this summer, planning for 2010 began. There are fuel trucks to secure, fuel orders to compute, hiring to begin, and an endless list of supplies to anticipate.

Come July, it's our goal to make sure that things run smoothly for the AirVenture - not just for us, but especially for you. For so many of our customers, this is their vacation (or at least a working vacation!) and we want you to have the best time possible.

If you'd like to drop us a line with your comments or suggestions toward making your visit to OSH better, you can find our contact information at the bottom of every page.
